tis the season to be jolly

hey everybody. just wanted to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS in advance! our days here are already numbered, and time seems to have flown by. it happens with all holidays, all times when we're having fun. sigh.

but anyway i should be happy and thankful for this time i have. :D i hope i won't miss this place too much when we're back in singapore.

christmas is totaly around the corner. been christmas shopping for people the past few days. and the malls are all SO crowded! and there's traffic almost everywhere. then we just splurge here, splurge there.... oh well, it's all part of the christmas season.

we'll be back there december 30th in the afternoon. it's gonna be a quiet new year. again. i miss new year's day here.. when the hospitals are full from all the victims of faulty fireworks. (not that i enjoy seeing them in pain on TV) and when POPs and BANGs and BOOMs and KABLAMs are going off everywhere everytime, and falling asleep already accustomed to the noise outside, with all the smoke rising around (i dont really miss the smoke that much, but still :p). even when neighbours would come together to watched each other's fireworks out on the streets. and even the age old tradition/superstition of jumping at midnight to grow taller. (haha, doesn't work though) come to think of it i haven't spent new year's here since 2002. :'(

(i should stop ending on a sad note)

anyway, let's not forget the true meaning of Christmas at this time of year. though "true meaning of Christmas" sounds a bit cliche, we should really ponder and reflect on it this Christmas season despite the gifts, food and festivities.

HAVE A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS, everyone! :D

oh and PS- our msn isn't working.

it reminds me of a palce called memory lane
with you again, back to the days
and i'll remember you always
so much has changed
it feels like yesterday i went away
