SA orientation was so FABULOUS! it was so much fun. in summary it was all about smiles, painful throats, and wet clothes (both from water and sweat). :D
last night was the best day of orientation coz it was finale and DISCO NIGHT! :D first there was AMARILLO's victory as BEST KINGDOM (YAY!). actually i confess that i wanted to be in IROXA coz it's the PURPLE kingdom. but now i totally love AMARILLO!!!! :D
after the diff competitions there was a band performing for disco night, which was the highlight of the finale. everyone was just all so excited and hyped by the music that we were jumping and dancing and doing human choo choo trains around the hall! even though it was so so steamy there and we were all drenched in sweat, none of us really cared because it was just so much fun! PLUS, they played dare you to move by switchfoot!!!!!!!! a few christian songs too! and of course being together with new-found friends made it all so much better. :D
OG 11 totally rocks my socks! after oreintation officially ended, the OG had dessert in toa payoh. after walking around, we finally settled down in the food court only to discover that the place was already closed. :/ but in the end 4 of us shared a mango and strawberry snow thingy at a small eatery. i forgot what it's called. after the midnight snack, we talked and waited for jannah, our dear ogl, to come. but it was getting late and nick had an 11.30 curfew so the 3 of us with cheryl left together.
when i got home i was so exhausted that i just bathed and went straight to bed. and yay, i was able to catch up on lost hours of sleep. :D
i think i'll be staying in SA forever. i mean permanently. isn't it becoming a trend that at first we say we're not staying in this JC or that JC, but in the end we want to stay really badly?
there are a lot of things i like about SA. for one, it's in many ways like st margs. and because it's a christian school im so much more encouraged. :D
anyway the subject combi i'm taking is MPEC. because i still hate chem even though i surprisingly got an A1 (even better than physics) for prelims. :p
oh, my new years resolution is to drink tons of water. haha! what's yours?
