busking at paragon!

yesterday morning i woke up at 8:45 to go for my dental appointment at 9:30. woke my sis up so she could tag along, and we ended up leaving the house at about 9:40! there was an accident right in front of springdale!!! so we didn't jay-walk. haha.

at my unreliable dentist clinic, the receptionist (or whatev you call her) said that my dentist wasn't even IN! ugh. she supposedly called on saturday, but no one was home... hmmm. instead, we went to 7-eleven (again! mermories, memories) and bought a slurpeeeee!

next we hung at widj's place. and helped her clean her house a bit. A BIT because it was't even messy in the first place! haha. i downloaded SHORT PEOPLE!!! its seriously uber kewl. :D:D

left for home to change into our busking attire at about 11:30, had lunch, and was off again for school. arrived quite early, and only michelle and melanie were there. i was so scared, since no one else was there, that rehearsals were earlier or something. but thankfully, ms ho showed up and opened the theatrette.

after rehearsing for about an hour, the choir took a bus down to paragon. we kind of started singing in the bus a bit, and lots of people were giving us "the look", just like some people the other day. but there was this grandma who was smiling at us sweetly:D

reached paragon, and since some of the choiristers hadn't eaten lunch yet, they went to grab a bite to eat. meanwhile, those who weren't hungry/ have already eaten, like me, stayed in the busking site, and watched the previous buskers. we got piled on by the bags of those who left, though. so i was kinda immobile.

when they came back and it was our turn to busk, there was some small problem with the piano, so ms ho took over and started singing "rainbow connection" and a few other songs. :D several minutes later, we got into position. (buh and widj arrived already, btw! :D)

the first round of songs was a tad awkward. especially the rubber duckie! where they made all those in yellow polo shirts to go in front and.. do stuff. it was quite fun.... but quite awkward, really.

the second round was MUCH BETTER! i had much more fun!!! :D:D (and we didn't sing rubber duckie anymore) when we sung singapore town, we even formed a train and started chugga-chugga-choo-chooing around like a train! :D it was so impromptu and definitely FUN(: plus, we were able to help the leukemia patients:D:D

our busking was cut short when the rain started to get heavier. i was kind of sad, we weren't able to perform barbara ann! ):

after we were dismissed, walked around inside paragon with widj, buh, evan and enya. then we went down to the food place and buh got a CHILLO. haha!:D i kept singing SHORT PEOPLE to then, and they were getting irritated. evan even joined me in singing! :D:D HAHA!

we vegged out and watched the next group of buskers for a while. shona (she joined us) and evan spotted a plastic bag in the sky, and we were all looking upwards. then i said that if we keep looking upwards, people around will start looking upwards, too, to see what we were looking at. and guess what? there was one guy who was looking up, too. HAHA(:

took the underpass to the bus stop. and was mesmerised by the smell of the famous amos cookies! stopped by a shop and looked at lotsa kewl clothes. (: we took 171 home, and in the bus evan and i were talking while widj and buh were sleeping. haha! :D

when we got home, widj sent me SHORT PEOPLE!!!!!!! :D and i kept playing it over and over. it's so KEWL!

this morning i woke up with a cramp in my leg! and it was so painful!!! so my left leg still kind of hurts now.

we're gonna have tuition at cal's house at 2 later. and it's her birthday!!! we'll be getting her a cake! :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAL!!!
