anyway, the first thing we did? clean up after some dudes from yesterday's leadership conference! they left their plates and everything behind on the canteen table! we
climbed the steps to the hall and rehearsed everything there till about 2. next, ms ho took wee and i out for lunch. we drove into rifle range road for a joyride(: we went towards those huge singtel satellite dishes seen on the BKE. the road bent left and right, and soon we were in the middle of nowhere! hahaz! there were tons of monkey on the road, too. drove all the way in till we met a dead end- it was some engineering training thing. couldn't help but wonder why, of all things, we found a training place at the ned of a long, winding, deserted road.
we got out of the car for a while, after noticing that there was actually a trail beneath the thick forest vegetation leading to the bukit timah nature reserve and macritchie, too (: "boarding" car again, a monkey suddenly approached weewee as she stepped into the car. i didn't see what exactly happened (i was sitting in the back seat, she was in front), but i did see the monkey scurry away holding a wet tissue pack! he was sniffing it and all. then he split the plastic wrapping in two, smelled it the second time, and stuffed it into its mouth. one second passed, and OUT came the tissue again! :D HAHA! it was hilarious. it made we wonder how charles darwin came up with the idea we evolved from monkeys... if evolution was true, then how come the monkeys in the zoos today dont just suddenly POOF! into homo sapiens?
on the way back, we stopped yet again, and left the car on the semi-deserted road. we were on the overhead bridge you could see from the BKE. we stood close to the edge and gripped the handrail. watched cars go by quite speedily. at instances that there were no cars, the road seemed to be moving! felt queasy after that. poor wee got bitten by mosquitos! haha. cos she's so sweet:D lol.
got back into the car, after watching it's close calls with other speeding cars. cos we just left the car on the road! hehe. anyway, watched some monkeys one more time from the car. saw a little baby monkey getting chased by a large evil-looking monkey just because the baby monkey had food. tsk tsk.
finally came to our destination, 5 star chicken rice! haha(: i tried the chicken liver thing of ms ho! after a scrumptuous lunch, ms ho drove me home (we were only like <1km away). haha!
