woke up early early and packed my bag last-minute (as usual!) by the time i got out of my room only my sister was left, so we rushed together to get a taxi to harbour front! taxi driver was interesting- his wife's from the Philippines and he'd been to WoWoWeeeeee! HAHA. anyway, when we met the rest of the family, we grabbed breakfast at macs then proceeded to the terminal. boarded the ferry.. which reminded me of the time i went to tekong, haha. they were showing toy story 2 on tv! but since we couldn't hear and i was bored i just listened to music and bonded with my brother! :P we reached er.. batam? then we had to take another boat to our destination island. my sister and i had to queue separately at immigration from my parents and bro, and we got to cut queue coz of our blue passports! HAHA :D anyway, this was the 2nd boat ride!
the weather was rainy, so we kinda froze to death in the front row. eventually the ran stopped and my brother and i went to sit on the front part of the boat :D arrived at telunas before noon, i didn't realise the whole place was on stilts until later! my brother went straight to the hammock!
we unpacked and settled into our small cosy hut and changed out of our wet clothes before heading for lunch!

brother played soccer! (i played a bit too :D) and sister explored the entire length of the beach looking for shells and er hermit crabs? i was busy taking pictures!
we practically had the whole beautiful white sandy beach to ourselves! good thing the sun came out, otherwise i'd be sulking.!
after a while, everyone was just practically bumming by the beach! the hammocks were so comfortable and the breeze was just perfect for an afternoon nap (:
took off for a few minutes to write on the sand and take some more pictures (:
then with a new burst of energy i played frisbee, soccer, volleyball and tetherball with gibby! :D
everyone went to the water to cool off, while i stayed behind.. i can't remember why.
then we headed back to our hut to get changed for our next activity! our hut's the furthest one on the right! (: the sun was shining pretty brightly so i took lots of pictures of the glistening water.
and then the best part came!!! jumping off the high deck and plummeting into the water! i jumped off the high deck first. dad claimed i wouldn't be able to do it!! now he owes me $100 for jumping!!! :D it was so fun.. i felt like i was falling for a million seconds when in fact it was only about a second! when i hit the water it was kinda painful though :( and i got a jellyfish sting which bothered me for several days!

i got the camera from my mum and photographed my brother and father jumping! (:
we swam around for a while and i was first to get up coz i was afraid of the jellyfish and seaweed and other stuff : those are my siblings with their legs up.. haha

for dinner we had pizza by the beach (: you get to choose your toppings and everything and they cooked it right there on a small brick/rock(?) oven thing!
then the sun was setting and the landscape was so beautiful!
night came and they set up a campfire for us :D we roasted some marshmallows and sang some songs.. C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E S-O-N-G song? (:
i found the huge fire particularly mesmerising! especially when the sparks flew into the black sky in random directions. it almost looked like the sparks faded into stars. there were soooo many bright stars! the whole thing was just so nice i just couldn't help but stare!! and the heat was so nice on the skin too! my family thought i was crazy. :P
