picnic

two of my new year's resolutions were fulfilled that day:

1) be more punctual
meeting time: 1500 hrs

arrival time: 1502 hrs

2) save money on outings

total expenditure of the day: $3.05 (oh, plus bus fare.)

we brought a ton of food from home! evan made french toast which was yummy :D had marks & spencers and ikea biscuits, friend rice, grapes, etc etc! everything was filling!

we didn't do much. just feasted and played cards awhile! mostly it was just time to enjoy each other's company (: and take pictures, of course.

cookies with raspberry filling in the centre! very dewberryish.

a slight drizzle sent our umbrellas up for a while. the colours seemed to match our clothes :P

then the sun came out! :D

evan lost the gem on her left shoe! ): spent a long time searching but to no avail!

blew bubblesssss!!! :D

they really should stop saying i look "peaceful" \:

HAHA can't see evan's faces in both! :P

star-shaped bubble making thing! widj asked why the bubbles that came out were round!

we then walked to island creamery, after feeling half-guilty for eating so much food and half-craving for some ice cream!

we sat at the same place we did after receiving our O level results! it was such a long time ago! printed a picture to put on the wall, then went home :D
