the weekend and chinese new year passed real quick. met abraham thrice but time was not enough.. i guess it just never is! on tuesday he had to book in at pasir ris and travelled again to the opposite end of singapore by train. i saw him in his army uniform!!! i forgot to take a picture of/with him ): but there's always next time!
i hate weekdays. i think its not so much because its plain boring anymore, but because i can't beat the feeling that i'm just waiting for something to happen and i'm not really doing anything about it. at the same time it's not like i can do whatever i want, either! the more simple things like plans to go swimming (i miss living in a condo!) or getting a library card never push through... for some reason. is it really coz i'm lazy? or coz i don't wanna do things alone? everyone's working or in school or doing something! while i, on the other hand, am just counting down to saturdays and living for the brief moments when i'm not in front of the TV/computer or on my bed. and you know what's worse? all the while i'm somewhat expecting money to fall from the sky! even though i get allowance, my parents have decided that ezlink expenses are now my own. adult fare should just die ): which explains why yesterday i ran to hillview (again) to meet widj, walked to westmall, stowed away in the glendale park shuttle to my ex-house, walked back to widj's place, took one bus ride to BP then walked home. i probably covered several kilometres in all but my expenditure for the day was a mere $0.71! i'm proud of myself (:
at least this week i've toned down on the going out. i'm starting to save some cash. it's really dismal, but at least it's a start! i can't believe i used to spend so much in JC when my allowance was still.. well, much higher. and all becuase of my $500 phone bill i couldn't pay back in june! sigh. if only i realised the value of money and the lack of it which i would have in the second half of the year! sad...
yesterday i thought quite a bit about A levels results.. it terrifies me to the core! \: i keep trying to push those thoughts away though, since news hasn't come about its release yet. i think i would'nt mind if they would just spring it on us on the day itself! i don't want to undergo the agony and anxiety, especially on the days before. and the eve is definitely going to be sleepless!
which brings me to my next point... my dad wants me to take SATs. is that just in case i flunk As so badly or something and i'm shipped off to America or somewhere far away? i never even considered or wanted to study overseas.. at least not after sometime last year. but sigh! i asked why and my dad said, "its always good just to take SATs".. my sis took it last year and she scored 2060! she didn't use it in the end because she's now in NUS taking Applied Maths :O (crazy i know! haha) can i just have her score or something.. i don't feel like hitting the books again.. but maybe it'll give me more sense of purpose? and even if i do take it, will i even get a good score? argh, my sis is smart. still, i don't know how i managed to score a point less than her for O levels, because she's always been smarted anyway. arr whatever, for As im surely gonna do worse, worse and worsT (if that was possible).
dinnertime, baby. i've no appetite ):
