visited our other grandma again over lunch. i didnt eat rice again! haha yay. (but still ate alot D:) watched mr bean's holiday with everyone. lol [:
drove past the University of the Philippines, my parents' uni which turns a hundred years old this year!
OUR HOUSE!!! : D the gate's black now.. it used to be red!! \: and our tree in front got chopped.. SIGH. since its being rented out, the furniture's different, but some things about the house never change.. the squeaking of the front screen door sounds as squeaky as ever.
so many childhood memories!
rapture (our golden retriever) had grown a bit since last we saw him.
he's 8 years old already and still soooooo cute! : D i prefer him when he was much smaller though. RAHHH his fur looks soft [:
my sis and me at our alma mater [: i can't believe it was so close to our house! the pic on the left was taken just outside our gate, and at the end of the road's the school. its so much shorter than the walk from ascension t SA! i think its the length of the jacob ballas bridge!
after driving around the neighbourhood some more, we went t the nearby mall and did a bit of shopping, dinner, then went home!DAY 10
studied a bit in the morning coz i was in the mood! ;O HAHA. i invaded one of the rooms (with the coldest aircon) and had my study quarters set up too.. left after lunch t watch indiana jones \: actually i didn't even wanna watch the movie... ;X theater was coldddd and i kept hugging my brother. at the scary parts especially! hah i think he was annoyed : P our parents then left the 3 kiddos t shop around 'the block' and waste time.
we were fetched t have dinner at HEAVEN N EGGS! interesting name, right? food was alright, at least it made up for the lack of conversation around the table. the 3 siblings were outta place coz my parents were with their friends ): ooooh i did a bit of P&C at the table!!! ;O
DAY 11
departed early morning for TAGAYTAY HIGHLANDS : D woke up at 5 and it was already getting bright! : D so nice t wake up with the sun shining already, not like dark dreary mornings in singapore when you wake up for school. bleahhh D:
the car ride was interesting, got high with my siblings and played songs on my iPod speakers/pillow [: my family took turns choosing songs on my iPod, and i've officially concluded that my parents (mum esp) can't appreciate our kind of music.! HAHA.
so we drove up the mountain, so much Altutude! caused out ears to pop quite a few times. the view of lake taal was so pretty. the weather was cool and windy, but the sun was still hot around noon.
couldn't check into the hotel yet so we had brunch [: this is the view form our table! cool cloud at 12 o'clock! (haha inside joke) my brother's crazy, he went t sit at the bar coz there was a tv there. he watched the NBA playoffs, and good for him his team won! lakers are so gonna lose though ; P
went back to highlands and checked in to the hotel. no pics of the hotel room though.. we forgot!! ):
our hotel room balcony had an amazing view! in front of you there was just such a vast, open space of land and water below and sky above. it was very very peacefull too. it's like you could hear lots of sounds, but they were all from a far off distance.
the first picture was taken in the morning, and the second in the late afternoon while the rain clouds were rolling in!
stayed in the hotel room and took a nap on the couch.. woke up later and then went bowling at the country club. the bowling alley was deserted and we were the only ones there. daddy-O (hee) went high it got scary! :O after we bowled he'd run up behind us and scare us.. haha -__-

dinnered afterwards at max's [: halo-halo dessert was niceee! doesn't it look nice? : D haha tried taking pictures with the umbrella (especially for HUILIN! HAHA [;) so the dessert disappeared when i was done. sigh ):
DAY 12
such a nice morning!!! gibby looks emo in his pajamas like that.
drove down t the beach for some sun : D on the way there my dad was EVIL to the lobster lady sigh. i bet she died of asthma!!! \m/
we were so hungry that we ate before heading for the shore!
my bro and sis are crazy they kept playing with the hermit crabs!!! they're like weird and obsessed. so i was left all alone to emo ):
waded and swam and walked, etc. then took a shower!
the pic below looks cool [: and i think my brother's emo! this is the 2nd shot i've taken of him alone and staring into open space! :O i better find out whether he's missing someone from singapore... hmmm.
back to the hotel t dump our stuff then walked around the country club! the treehouse where we used t go when we were young was there! seemed unfamiliar though. i saw my friend the duck (who i miss so much ahem) : D
hawaiian bbq for dinner [: the ribs were D-licious! and the banana split in the coconut was sweet [:
the drive back home was scary coz it was raining SO heavily. there was fog coupled with the huge raindrops! the streets were poorly lit as well, and there was this steep slope we had t travel. haha idk it was kinda exciting [:
DAY 13
drove down t MIDLANDS for breakfast.
packed up and got ready for check out while watching the nba playoffs! then took the funicular thingy up! it was only a few mins, but this was the view.
finally left highlands then drove downnnnnn. ears plugged again ): went t cavite t visit relatives for a while, then since it was independence day, we passed by the aguinaldo shrine where the first philippine flag was waved at the brown balcony in the pic (or smth like that.. haha i suck!) aguinaldo's the dude on the 5 peso coin!
road trip on the way home was cool coz the sunset was beautiful : D too bad the camera died or i'd have nicer pictures.
did some shopping before the final stretch of our journey home at the mall of asia! it's seriously H.U.G.E!!! they had the universal studios-like globe in front!
DAY 14
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHANXI!
today i did some studying.. only one chapter of maths though ): then i watched like 3 movies in a row on tv ahahah : D
okay im like super lazy to blog now i think this is the longest entry i've ever written with the most pictures haha i think im enjoying run-on sentences as well : D
