the sc did a really great job on friendship week, everyday having a special meaning. really gotta give them props for that. LOL. anyway, can't really recall the day-to-day happenings, somehow it all seems like one very very long day, one entire chunk of jumbled up events. must be the lack of sleep D: but anyway, i shall try and remember.
MONDAY - MAKE A NEW FRIEND DAY!
council handed out different coloured stickers with faces for us to stick on our uniforms. the gist of it's that we had to find someone with the same sticker (chances being really low) and win a prize if you're among the first few.
school was the same D: i hate mondays til death do us part. had choir til about 8.30, that's pretty much all i rmb. and i was very tired by the end of the day.
TUESDAY - SURPRISE A FRIEND DAY!
was greeted by masses with a BOO! in the morning. great minds think alike! haha. council & the teachers gave each class a chocloate cake! : D
went shopping for Vday presents at vivo after school. spent a lot this year, definitely more than last year. photo was taken at superdog where it was soooo cold my fries were frozen ): talked a lot about the bored girl from the shop across us and about moving (as in migrating and stuff). haha lol got a bit sentimental and came to a few realisations. went home with gen on 963.... such a long bus ride! and the bus was vibrating it wouldnt stop o_O my nose got so itchy lol. and talked about stuff again.
WEDNESDAY - SECRET CONFESSION DAY!
a soccer goal/net thingyy whatever you call it (kill me, the soccer noob haha) was placed in the caf for people to stick notes on it, saying their secret confessions [: didn't write anything, actually i don't think anyone would seriously confess there.
no pics from that day, forgot to bring my camera. had choir again after that, then comm mtg. made gen wait for me for quite long and i felt bad ): treated her to bubble tea and bought myself some food since i was reallyyyyy hungry. reached home pretty late coz i was supposed to get balloon sticks but yeah, long story.
THURSDAY - VALENTINE'S DAY!
a pretty happening valentine's day this year [: received the most presents from the most people, thanks everybody, i feel the LOVE! : D haha.
stayed up til 1+ doing presents and cards. i gave masses a heart to pin on their ties, picture above : D
love was definitely in the air with the love songs playing, present-giving, chocolate-eating, and balloons flying! : D SA looked as colourful as a rainbow. balloons were everywhere, including the ceiling of the caf. (see the 2 balloons in the picture above) one of the funniest things happened when huilin accidentally let go of a balloon we had to pass to enya! it floated to the caf ceiling, suddenly everyone was watching it, and huilin instantly dashed to the 2nd floor to catch it in case a gust of wind blew. and then it did! a rush of air sent the balloon towards her, though slowly, and all eyes were watching her LOL!!! when she caught the balloon, people cheered and clapped. it was super funny! HAHAHAHA.
of course, couldn't pass up the opportunity to take pictures : D oh, and i won a bet with gen! but it made up for the bet i lost with widj and my sis. hahahahah \m/
3 guys from our class (the I.R.A. LOL JK!) got all the girls roses : D it was totally unexpected! thanks guys, it was really sweet of you : D
made the class take this picture after moral ed. yu chuan said "how come suddenly so enthu" LOL. hahaha vday is aka photo-op day! HAHA. and masses had our picture taken by the photography society, though we forgot to claim our pics :X
MASSES PHOTO : D oh, we had physics spa that day! i studied before the practical itself, but i think i managed to remember a lot. while doing the spa, the caf was abuzz with loud music! everyone was singing along to the nice songs they played. i felt like bursting out in song as well, esp to songs like someday we'll know, jenny, and more than words. i can't believe they played all the nice songs within that hour. so we were all totally distracted : p
went out after school, supposed to catch PS I LOVE YOU, but it was sold out. kinda expected though ): so we had an early dinner instead. went home by bus ALONE! and it was quite crammed since there was a balloon in front of my face -__- dozed off a couple of times coz i was exhausted.
home then dessert with the family! went to some cafe and had cakes. the brownie was HEAVEN.. the rest was just mediocre. they gave us a free rose which was very HUGE! (its the 5/6 pic above)
oh btw the 6/6 pic is of gen's flowers, not mine [: i ain't so.. popular?
FRIDAY - BEST FRIENDS DAY!
liphin and i took the friends test thing, and we got 80%! GP we watched this film that used the F word in every line ): and the show was horrible i felt so disturbed after... choir after school, again, had CIP at SGH singing CNY songs. if you're wondering, yes, the songs are chinese. haha. reallyyy tired and burned out from the weeks events so the waiting time was spent stoning and resting. talked with choir juniors, too.
rushed back to school for the movie under the stars : D : D spent 1/3 of the time watching the sky instead of the movie. LOL, i know, right, you think im like crazy or something. but the screen was so small compared the the vast sky above us! HAHA. anyway, ivan came and brought us goodies to snack on [: in total, 5 of us from our class turned up for the thing, excluding councillors. huilin, gen, cindy (but she didnt sit with us!) me and ivan. hahaha but considering it was a really last min decision, its alright [:
we walked ivan home then chilled a while at macs while waiting for my parents to fetch. it was such a cold night, the wind was so strong! took a couple of pictures but i can't upload them yet. another time!
SATURDAY - CHOIR DAY!
HAHA. had choir from 8.45 all the way til 4.45! 8 hours of choir!!! haha but the afternn was used for practicing our dances, which i think still need a lot of polishing! \: concert is in FIVE DAYS!!! :O island creamery after that, with tasia chinyan weiliang steffie and chanxi [: love the icecream to the maximum man.! we deserved the reward after a long day's work : D
