SWITZ IN SUMMARY! LONGEST POST OF ALL!

OKAY PEOPLE! its time for a long post! better grab some popcorn before you start reading! (: im serious, btw. or at least get yourself comfortable.

let me pick up where i left off! went home really tired from going up schilthorn mountain + hiking. wasn't really sleepy that night, i think i was having an adrenaline rush of sorts coz i was able to come online o_O my bed was next to the window so i opened it. looked outside and saw bright stars!!! ((((: they were really nice. REALLY nice. :D i wish i could have taken a picture, but only darkness is bound to appear D: anyway, i stared and spaced out for a longgggg time, thinking abt some stuff and listening to the waterfalls outside. i was writing in the book, hbangers one (yes it's officially been to europe!), and here's a teeny excerpt.

blah evan and her issues blah...ok so let me paint a picture for you. i'm in a rather dark hotel room with 5 beds. everyone but me is sound asleep, i guess i need some alone time. which only comes at night, btw, when im the only one awake : / my dad's snoring D: im lying on my stomach on my bed with a pen in my hand and a little lamp casting just enough light on this notebook(: next to me there is a heater separating my bed from the window/wall. it's not on. (too hot i guess) the window is slightly open to let the cool night breeze in. so nice! i can hear the waterfalls too, sounds like steady humming of rain minus the thunder (:

muhaha! sounds weird, i know. i think i was more than slightly inspired by seeing such a pretty night sky so i wrote in this errr, composition-like way. D: HAHA!!! but seriously, it was super nice. i ♥ stars! :D i even stared so hard that for a fleeting instant i thought i'd seen some words written across the sky. ok, i was totally ttmttm. think too much to the max.! lolz. oh and i was tempted to climb onto the roof outside, but i didnt. regret not doing it though ):

woke up the next day and went up the JUNGFRAUJOCH MOUNTAIN! the Js are pronounced as Ys. so its "yungfrauyoch" if you read it aloud. weird... anyways its the "TOP OF EUROPE", at 3571 m high! took the eurorail to gimmelwald i think, hate all these names!! HAHA. walked to the cable car station through a scary deserted town! : O then we took the cablecar up up and away!

when we reached the summit at first, it was as cold as expected. mom said to wear our thickest layers of clothes on that day! so i obeyed and wore what, 5 or 6 layers? O_O "inside" the mountain there was an ICE PALACE! literally everything was ice- floor, walls, ceiling, everything! and this time I REALLY FROZE. felt the blood in fingers and toes solidifying, it was gross : / didnt wanna go in actually, but we all forced ourselves to. so we went in, went a bit insane from the negative 93480293842834 degrees that froze our sanity, then quickly rushed out and tried not to slip at the same time.

the air up there was super thinnnn. it was hard to breathe and walk through the corridors briskly. they had signs like "please go upstairs slowly" and benches all over for people to rest if they were outta breath. below is a pic of the sibs resting. gibby looks queasy. awww.

walked quite a distance (it seemed) to the exit to more and more snow! as we got closer and closer it looked SUPER BRIGHT outside. @_@ my eyessss! didn't wanna wear sunglasses but i couldn't resist coz it was just TOO BRIGHT! i couldn't keep my eyes open D:

this dude was coming back in wearing only a shirt. me and my sis gave each other a look o_O cuckoo is he mad? its colddddd! then we finally reached "heaven" (coz it was nothing but bright haha) and realised why he was clothed that way! IT WAS HOT! *cue mood music: ten den den* lolz! snow all around, literally everywhere! and its not melting! but its freaking hot, like in singapore and moreeee! don't ask why, im not sure either. im as confused as you are! all i know is that i felt very, very hot. peeled of all my layers one by one til i was only wearing a shirt. had that tingly feeling that my pores were gonna burst out with gallons of sweat and second. ewwwz : /

SNOWDISC! YEAAAAH! it was totally fun! slid down a slope and it was the JIBZ YO!
ok, check it out. a soccer field in the middle of nowhere! apparently there were people training for some euro thingyyy... dotz. tb im not into soccer. muhaha!

it was colder inside than out so geared up with the layers again!

left the snowy mountain and went around wengen. apparently lots of celebrities come here.? federer's from here! LOLZ. went shopping for FOOOOOD, yum! WHAHOO. bought OJ and FANTA! ♥ then i played space impact+ while bumming with gibby and beat the highschore! MOOHAHA : P

walked more and went into various shops. saw a playground infested with kiddies and went there with gibby (: i didnt play or anything though, just sat atop the structure, took in the view and spent some quality alone time. o_O heh im such a loner. two little girls came up to me though, then said HI! they were super cutesy (: i wondered what they wanted, i thought maybe gibby's number! haha jk. they asked me if i wanted to play "SHARK" with them. honestly i was quite D: coz they interrupted my thoughts so i said, my brother can play with you. so mean right? yeah. sorry. well gibby was uncomforatble with it, i could tell from his facial expression. he didnt even bother to hide it.? muhaha childhood innocence. (SIK?) had to leave though, after playing one round of shark.! i just watched. and gibby lost. GIRL POWER! YEAH! hahahhahh.

FANTAAAAAAAAAA! its like orange juice, only carbonated. love it love it LOVE it! HAHA!

THE NEXT DAYYYY! headed to interlaken! super cooliOz view of the lake there. the water was a really really nice colour (:

took a funicular up and up to a restaurant with a panoramic view of the city down below. we saw tonnnnes of PARAGLIDERS! its so cool, i wanted to paraglide too! ): anyways had ice cream up there!!! then received an sms from singapore, yay! :D oh oh they had swings too. again. oh yeahhh.!

we next went to watch this mini concert thingy by the kids of a small town. i think the entire town was gathered there : O

its the choir yozzz! haha :D they were not bad, although the song choice made me go ZzzZZzZZ. : /

flag tossing!!! or whatever you call it. : / the last guy on the right looks like michael buble o_O and he's late in tossing the flag!!! haha it was funnayee how they sometimes dropped the flags all at the same time and the sound was so in sync. :D

had cheese fondue afterwards! it was a letdown. and i was so looking forward to it ): the cheese was rum-filled. you could taste the alcohol in it, so it wasn't as nice. D: mom's ROSTI WAS THE JIBZ THOUGH! *steals*

came home late because we got lost again.? oh no wait, that was the next day... we missed the train i think! and it only came until LATEr, so when i got home there was no one online for me to talk to ):

SO the best part of the hike i guess was the flowers. especially the YELLOW ONES. (: i love yellow flowers! bright ones, actually. kept taking pix with them! HAHAH :D

rested awhile at this point. saw a field full of dandelions ♥ had this thing for not stepping on any flowers at all, but gave up since 1) no one was listening 2) there were too many, impossible not to step on them 3) stepping on a few doesnt really matter anyway right? they're bound to die! MUHAHA EVILLLL.

karissa saw a strawberry growing in someone's garden. oh man, strawberries are my new fetish! (: they're super niceeee (in switz at least). had strong cravings for it last night when i was super hungryyyy.

you know i'd walk a thousand miles. but not to nowhere.

the song a thousand miles was playing on repeat in my mind. totally appropriate since i was walking a thousand (maybe 93842387402 thousand) miles for 3 LONG PAINFUL HOURS with heavy loads on my shoulder. ): but in reality the song posed no motivation. still i dragged my feet all the way. you know the song. we were walking to where?... there was no one to see within a thousand mile-radius. maybe gary haha!. SWIM a thousand miles would be better i guess, but a thousand miles outta switz in freezing cold water wouldn't be worth it either. okay, digressing.

FINALLY we reached the end of the hike. got another msg from singapore which REALLY lifted my mood. (: then we had nice nice rosti for dinner! muhaha i got so full! FULLISH FOOLISH! : P on the way home we took the wrong train. long story. long train journey too.

WHOOHOO. this is what we do when we're bored. i look too happy in this pic. -__- OH i remember why! we played charades! i was acting out the title of the songs on my iPod! SUUUPPPERRRR FUNNY AND I LOOKED RETARDED!!! i was trying to act out "misty" (they couldn't get it) and "you raise me up" (eazy peazy lemon squeezy!) my stomach was SO painful!!!i dont think i ever laughed so hard in my life.oh and i was happy also COZ the vending machine gave us 2 TWIX CHOCOLATE BARS when we only put $ in for one! (: MUHAHA. i bet we could cheat the machine again, coz there's a technique. but we're nice people, so we didnt!

we left the next day for ZURICHHHHH! enough of the country side, its time for some CITY LIFE!!! YAY, felt alive again when we arrived. im totally not a country side kinda person. i think. : P arrived at the train station at around 1pm with all our luggage. we were once again greeted by the smoke-filled air, which is one of the few things i dont miss about europe. : / they've even got NON-SMOKING ROOMS on the platform of train staions. so weird! instead of having smoking rooms they've got non-smoking rooms, since i guess almost everyone smokes D: haha met gary inside glass room because of that. lolz. gave him chocs from koREa. HAHA! okayyy. stood around watching and observing people while waiting for dad to buy tmr's train tickets.

walked out of the train station and to our hotel. my luggage of course, tiptioptoppled. RAWR. D: left in a jiffy for lunch. but mom and i only had nice desserts instead of a meal! WAHAHAH the fats from eating will keep me warm! LOL EW!

mmmmmmmmmmmmm, i can almost taste the sweet sensation!

TIME TO SHOP YOZ. finally. i've been waiting! we went to the "largest toy store in europe", which turned out to be not large at all D: they had a cool dragon slide for kids that would lead them to another floor! i wanted to goooo but when my sis invited, i refused. haha! too many people around -__-

WHAHAH I AM TALLER THAN THE BABY GIRAFFE!!!!!!! *BEAMS* :DDDDD

walked some more and then passed by high class shops like prada, louis vuitton, and the works. didn't dare go in! yknow how they have some doormen to welcome in customers who have big bucks? well one of the shops had em. and my mom wanted to take a photo outside the shop with me!!!!!!! D: like, no way. if we came too close then doorman would open the door and we'd have to go in. and sometimes there's this weird pressure to have to buy something, esp if the salespeople entertain you so much. MUHAHA. so.. while walking, guess what? the doorman was looking at me with this look... it was like he was reading my mind! o_O

went inside this UBER COOLIESSS CHOCOLATE STORE!!! the stuff were super ex, but the decorations were to die for so we went in and took some secret photos.

okay. i bought a lot of stuff. not just for me but for others too! there's this cooliO brand called "yes or no?" there! HAHA, yeaaaah! we went inside claire's and i almost DIED coz i wanted to buy every single piece of thing in there! had to rush abit since i didnt wanna keep the rest of the family waiting. ): wish i had more time. and more money! went home after my feet started aching and i had squeezed my wallet dry of swiss francs. bathed and packed and then went to sleep. woke up the next day at 4 AM and took the train to the airport.

(btw i hope im not boring you all) and besides, i've been blogging for hours now, can't really be bothered. : /

catching some shut eye at the airport aft BF. croissant and orange juice! total cost : NINE FRANCS. dotz. used up all the moeny we had. AND WE GOT ANOTHER FREE CHOC BAR FROM THE VENDING MACHINE! it was snickers this time! and we didnt cheat or anything, the choc bar was already down there. it fell! lucky us! (:

i believe that i've never been so happy to be back in singapore! i dont exaclty call this place home, but there are times when i'm caught unaware and refer to this place as "home" anyways. sooo what does that mean? : / every other time we come back from another country, its all emo and depressing. i usually go through a rough spot for a couple of days too. BUT this time it was different. when the city lights first came into view fom my tiny window on the plane and when the plane first touched down on singapore soil, i already couldn't wait to burst throug hthe doors and see the familiar things i've grown to. love.? i don't know why i felt that way...
