erm lets start with thursday morning. to make the long story short i ended up at widj's place at around lunchtime. we then decided, after MUCH (seriously! but i won't elaborate anymore) deliberation, to go to a nearby salon to do our hair. dumped my sleepover stuff at widj's place and then left with her at around 3 for the salon. met evan there, and after our hair was done we returned to widj's to dress up. on our way back we, i mean I, looked so cuckoo. because i was wearing widj's button-up shirt (i forgot to bring one) which was yellow, checkered, and quite big. i looked insane. with the hair and the shirt that made me look manly and the hair that made me look girly. :P oh well, it was one of the embarrassing moments of my life.
after the dolling up (stole that term from somewhere, haha:D) we were in vanessa's car by 6.30 and at sheraton towers by about 7.20. and of course, the usual happened. pictures, pictures, and more pictures. we were planning to count how many pictures we actually took the entire night. but i reached 3, then i forgot to count. HAHA(:
then we entered the ballroom several pictures later and took our seat. sadly next to the teacher's table but gladly near the stage. umm, then nothing much happen anymore. food was OK, not worth our $65. the soup was extra blaaaand despite its thick nature. so deceiving.
there was the crowning of the prom queen. on a sad note, my dream didn't come true. my dream where WIDJ was prom queen. HAHA! (i know you thought that I wanted to be prom queen when i said my dream didn't come true. er, NOOO.)
then there were a few performances by students (3 out of 4 from 4/5) and they sang kewl songs. errr nothing else happened that i can remember anymore. hopped into the car with widj, evan and gillian (hitched a ride) with widj's bro at the wheel. after wishing each other a MERRY CHRISTMAS we dropped gillian off and then went insane in the car. evan and i were suddenly so high! ironically, widj was reserving herself in front of her own bro (or maybe she just wan't HIGH) , while evan and i were going crazy in the backseat! HAHA! we kept laughing at no particular thing, too. :D tipsy.
karissa came later that night to join the sleepover. we took more pix at home/downstairs by the pool. :D it was so uber late already and we were clacking away downstairs in our high heels and dresses. then we talked and played and slept at almost 3.
the next morning my sis had a baking session at a friend (who just happens to stay at the same condo:D), so she abandoned us for his place at around 10 AM. then the three of us, after breakfast, watched tv i think. OH! and evan and i played NEOPETS!!!! we earned like 100,000+ NP! hahaha! sadly, my account is still locked up.
karissa and her friend karen then came for lunch. we had pasta! and it was so gooood. (: we had fun playing UNO.
at 2.30 we decided to play tennis, so we booked the court for 3-4pm. to make the long story short (again) it drizzled so we changed our booking to play tabble tennis instead. haha, the management guy was like errr. then i ended up going for dental, which was pushed forward. so we had to cancel the booking to the management guy's dismay. NOT.
we walked to dental and accidentally took my sis's friend's umbrella. we weren't even sure whos it was, but we sued it anyway. HAHA! dental was quick. im having my braces taken off next year JAN 2. does it ring a bell? first day of JC. speaking of which, i applied for SA. :D
we returned and then booked the tennis court (yay for the management guy.) we played for about an hour despite the fact that we can't really play well. but it was really fun. since we only had 2 rackets, one of us had to be the ball girl and pick up all the stray balls. :D HAHA! evan had perfect aim though. when her tennis ball went outside the court and i went to pick it up, i deiscovered that it had perfectly landed on doggie poo. :/ then we exceeded the time we booked the courts by about 20 minutes or so. (hehe) and then i pretended we got locked in. i was like "NOOO they locked us in" evan and widj rush to the gate. "NOOOOOOO!!!!" evan pushes the door and it squeaks open. they glare. i laugh
then we went swimming. with the blubber boys. EWWWWWWWWW! i so dont wanna elaborate on this, it's so grossssss. anyway karissa finally came to our rescue after 2 HOURS of swimming. we tried taking pictures but it was really dark already and well, the pix didnt turn out so nice. we triend jumping high into the air and then my sis was gonna take the picture. but we were on the other side of the pool so the flash wasn't strong enough. sad. ))):
we planned to order KFC for dinner, but widj's mom cooked so we ate that instead. :D and then we proceeded downstairs by the pool to play snakes and ladders and UNO. :D at first it was really fun. (i hate snakes and ladders, btw.) then something happen so the fun stopped for a while. but when it was done we were all back on track. played a lot and talked a lot. we munched on ikea cookies, which i dun our official sleepover snack. haha! we had it last time, too. :D we talked about um, stuff. we tried tracing our thoughts back several times. like how peter pan peanut butter (i love the creamy one:D) can lead to talking about something totally different. haha! it was past midnight by the time we went back upstairs. people were actually shhhhing us already.
i think we slept at around 3 again. and then planned to go to mcdonalds aka macs aka mcdo in the morning. but as all our efforts at fast food, it was not meant to be. we had bee hoon instead at home:D we played more UNO/snakes and ladders while watching tv. then widj had somewhere to be for lunch so we had to blast.
yeah, that's basically where it ended. it's the most prductive sleepover we've ever had. :D YAY! we're going to mac's tomorrow for breakfast!!!! hopefully this time on of us don't die on the way or the mac's we're going to suddenly gets bombed.
