heyyo! i was just hunting for a layout for my sister's blog, but in the process found one for myself. hehehe! :D
its been a while since i last updated. (warning: this is gonna be long!) not much has been happening, anyways. ok, lets start from yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! :D haha, october's a happy month, lotsa birthdays and lotsa wonderful people born.
i woke up at around 7:45 and left home at around 8:15 after a rushed breakfast of french toast. the bus took rather long, and i was so worried i'd be late. i comforted myself with the fact that other would definitely be lateR than i. and guess what? i was right! haha. some were more than 30 mins late! (*cough*WIdJ*cough*) :D in the end, i was only 5 minutes late.
english lesson was unproductive, really. we were assigned to do a compre over the past days, and i diligently (not) finished it the night before. in the end we didnt have to hand it in, they merely gave us 4 page long answers and left it to us to mark our papers. baaah. :P
nothing much happen next, except that they gave us more notes/worksheets. went home after that and then changed out of uniform and met evan to go to PJ's open house. after mishaps piled over one another, we, with widj, all arrived at about 2 something. we met my sister there and had "lunch". i bought cotton candy from my sis's class stall. haha! widj and evan got hotdogs.
anyway, we joined the school tour thing, and their goddy bag was heavy. probably weighs 2 kg or something. HAHA! later i found out that our tour guide was my sisters good friend, michael. haha. a lot of people didn't think we were sisters. many, when they found out, were like "really?" or "you don't look alike" or "are you sure you're related?" HAHA. i wanted to say "my sister's adopted" :P kidding.
i met lots of her friends, choir people and classmates too. evan and widj had to leave early and i decided to wait for my sister so we could buy mom a cake on our way home.. erm, let's just say that i had nothing much to do, so i camped on a canteen table for about 40 minutes i think and listened to my iPod the whole time. :D
in the process i forgot about the grand lucky draw, where I WAS GONNA WIN AN IPOD NANO. ok, i wasnt GONNA win. but there was a chance, right? :D now i have no idea who to stalk home and murder while no one's looking so i can get that iPod nano. HEHE(: soooooooooo sad. went to lot1 after that to get mom a cake and a SUPER rose. :D
the day ended with surprising mom with a cake and gifts. they were on their way home from CG and we were peeping through the window and monitoring the lift movement. buh was the "sentinel", and i was in charge of lighting the candle. there were TONNES of false alarms, and i got so sick of lighting the candle with a pathetic barbecue stick skewer thingy (i had to go back and forth to the stove). the time FINALLY came, after about 45 mins, and suddenly i lost my TOUCH! i couldn't light the candle properly coz it kept dying out before i reached the cake. EEEEEEEEERGH!
today i woke up to take a call from canada. HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2IOM! (aka mei2, aka rosanne :D) hope you're feeling better now, yes? anyway it was fun talking to her on the phone again, after a looooooooong time. (:
we left for mom's friend's place for lunch in lieu of deepavali. HAPPY DEEPAVALI! had lotsa food stuffed into my body. (made up for yesterday's cotton candy for lunch and cake for dinner :p) we went home afterwards, and a while later we left for VIVOCITY!
AAAAH i was SO overwhelmed by the horendous amounts of people. it was so crowded i could barely breathe! *suffocates* HAHA(: i was ALSO overwhelmed by the innumerable CROCS i saw. or as we call it, CROX! you know, the shoes? plastic, colourful, with holes? *twitch* and guess how much they were? $50 SMACKAROONIES. OH MY.
well we walked all 'round and i noticed the huge amounts of couples there as well, for some reason. haha! went to TOYS 'R' US and i bought a water bottle. haha! it has a self-cooling thingy inside. :DDD
(agh im so tired of blogging.)
we were supposed to have dinner there, but it was too crowded. really really too crowded. we went to the olive garden instead, at labrador park. we even saw buh's classmate there, though the place was small. (and if we did see someone we knew, it should've been in vivo city.)
after a yummy meal, we went to NUS somewhere and watched this free violin concert. it was ok i guess. my sis and i were "writing" to each other using my handphone about stuff. during the intermission we were like "let's ditch this joint/suckfest" HAHA. we went to the carpark to retrieve buh's handphone, which she accidentally left. while we were in the life we saw this guy in all white, and later we realised he was a performer!!! HAHA!!! :D oh, and double bases rock my socks.
when the performance ended we went to "the daily scoop" in clementi for ice cream(: YAAAAAY. then we went home.
AHHH, im finally done blogging. i think this is my longest post EVER. "feel free to disagree", as gibby would say. :D

PS- im thinking of going on another hiatus. guilt's beginning to creep in due to lost time.
