sweet sorrow

big YO to y'all. :D soooo, how's life? HAHA.

today was officially the last paper for some of us, including me. :D aaah, i feel a sense of relief now that prelims are over and the "easier" Olevels are all that separate us from the december holidays! :D

after our last paper (geography) today we had to take an NE quiz, which actually turned out to be fun. :D biased against non-Singaporeans, yes, but i enjoyed lots. it was in the form of a game where we had to answer quesitons about Singapore and earn money for each correct answer. with that money we earned, we could "build" Singapore with all kinds of landmarks and buildings. kind of like mall tycoon or zoo tycoon. haha! :D anyway, we only had half an hour to play the game and build as much and answer as many questions as we could. sad )))):

at around 11 AM we were officially free! mmmm. last day of exams, sounds like a celebration. sadly, no celebrating for me. evan still has exams tomorrow, and widj had other plans. no biggie though:D

instead i had to bring gibby, my 9-going-on-10 year old brother, to his violin lessons. took a bus in the blistering heat and then after gibby's lessons, went to mcdonald's for a munchie:D HAHA.

anyway there were these 2 girls and a guy who were seated relatively far from us. the thing is, we could hear them. muhaha! not that i was eavesdropping, coz they were loud! :DD they were studying chem- the "sacrificial" metals. well something bothered me a bit. the girl kept talking about "slag" and the rest of the extraction of iron stuff. and the guy seated across her, looked like her boyfriend or something, was testing her i think, and asked what the formula for slag was. she was on a rooooll, so she said something like" there's no formula, its just called slag". and then the guy looked so feeble and insecure that he couldn't and didn't interrupt and correct the girl.

MUHAHA! ok that was random. just something interesting that happened today. oh, btw, i was like "HAHA! my prelims are over and yours aren't!", in my mind of course, i didn't say it out loud. :p

sigh. i feel drained for some reason. tomorrow's a rest day for me-- NO SCHOOL! :D classes resume on thursday, however, and the "intensive revision" :o or whatev they call it will be starting. gotta recharge and gear up (beef up! hahaha!).
