crosscountry

crosscountry today was better than last year's. when i woke up today i was totally dreading the running through the "jungle" and then later out by the road. but after we came out from the jungle, which was already about half of the 3.2 km we had to run, i wasn't even that tired yet! it was sooooo different from what i remembered last year, where evan and i were dying. last year we were practically crawling on the floor and gasping for air and searching for the perfect place to crash! but this year it wasn't so bad. i really expected it to be worse than that.

after the prize giving, went with chanxi weeeeee and lexy to black canyon. took us a bit of time to hail a cab, but it was alright. the food was goooooood. guess what? island creamery was just next door! haha. you probably already knew that! anyway, i chose apple pie ice cream, while lexyyy chose cookies and cream, weewee got soursop (which tastes uber sour after eating my ice cream, causing me to SALIVATE), and then chanxi got an eskimo sandwich. they were all sooooooooo yummy. i was extremely full!

went to lexy's house after the scrumptuous meal. her house is so KEWL. and her room, my, it smells so homely! and she has a DRUM SET!!!!!!!!!! but sadly it wasn't set up. at least not yet. she promised to teach me next time i go there. (: y'know what? she plays the drums, the guitar, the violin and the piano! talk about musically inclined!

i napped when i got home for 5 HOURS! it was.... refreshing. then watched the american idol finals! taylor wonnnnnnn! haha!
