woke up relatively late today, watched tv, lazed around, and let the aftermath of the SS exam sink in. what will the outcome be? i dont know. and im trying not to care.
anyway, watched lots and lots of tv today. watched 2 episodes of 24 season 3 in the afternoon then went to watch 8 below in the theaters. it was ok i guess. and there was a freaky part where the dog MAX found this dead whale, whose decaying insdes were exposed. and it look so freakishly disgusting, its red muscles and tissues out in the open. then the dog max, starving, comes near and starts chewing on the deceased whale's meat. it was so grosss! and then suddenly, this LEOPARD SEAL comes out from inside the whale and goes ROARRR! in max's face. of course, it was so unexpected, me and my sister screamed really really loudly. but its not our fault, it was sooooooooooooooo scary! it looks more like a demon thing instead of a seal.
so if your gonna see the movie, i just spoiled that part for you. but im not sorry, cos this is a warning- not for the faint hearted.
after the movie went to toa payoh to go attend mother's seminar thing on "exam strategies" or whatever it was. earlier in the day, mom was being indecisive of what to do, cos she had to miss part of the movie cos she had to be early for the talk. and 16 seats were supposed to be filled by her and her people. but then half of them backed out.. so mom dragged us along, even though we came after the movie and dinner, too.
so we got there and snuck in in the middle of the talk. guess what it turned out to be? some propaganda thing, it was a marketing thing.. they were some kind of brainwashing, robot-making sort of tuition centre. where all the students they "produced" were robotic, with chips inserted into their brains, feeding them all the info they need in order to impress the audience. ugh, i almost DIED there. i was so bored. and.. disgusted.
we left early. thankfully! and then watched yet another episode of 24. (: after that, watched the mexican on channel 5. didnt really get the story, but all i can say is brad pitt and julia roberts have no chemistry. haha.
i feel kinda bad for not touching any schoolwork today. but i guess i deserve a break after slaving away for social studies. bleah. i wonder why i put so much effort. in the end, i answered the sec3 topic, merger. and the source based question was decontextualised anyway.. so my studying didnt pay off. great, just great. its like playing a game.
ok, im gonna rest my tv-filled eyes now.
