here's a really late update of what we did in america during our last few days there:
dec24- (: christmas eve dinner was yummeh- had lotsa food. after eating, we all gathered round the christmas tree and opened our gifts! :D it was really fun and just full of happiness. everyone was happy and having a great time.
dec 25- went to church in the morning with daniel.when we got home it was lunch time. since there were so much people and all the tables were occupied, me, tito bobbeh and ria ate at the mahjong table! HAHAHA. speaking of mahjong, ria, karissa and i learned how to play. and we used to play, too. lol. (:
anyway, after lunch everyone settled down. paul and carlo in carlo's room on the ps2 and computer. jessica and claire in their room watching tv or something. while karissa, gibby, ria, james and me just "bummed around". we were just going from room to room (at least i was). watched the "scrabble moms" play scrabble. tita agnes and tita sophie said they wanted to join the amazing race and be called the "scrabble moms", inspired by the bowling moms in a previous season. haha. it was so funny. all the dads were in the living room watching a basketball game- and they were all falling asleep. i guess that runs in my dad's family.. falling asleep in between not-exactly-boring tv shows.
after an hour or so, everyone got ready to go to the cemetery. we took like 3 or 4 cars for everyone to get there. but we were all complete there. and we're never complete this was only the 2nd time. first time was in las vegas in 2003, during our grandparents 50th anniversary. so it's really rare that we're all complete.
we asked daniel (cousin from mom's side) which cousin he liked from all OUR cousins (dad's side). and guess who he chose? CARLO. i dont even know why. but he said it was because they wrestled each other. haha. on the way back to the main building, others had left to go home. and there was only 1 car left with 9 people left. but that's because we were going to anaheim to sleep there. dad went back home a bit earlier than everyone else because we FORGOT THE TICKETS TO DISNEYLAND. so we had to wait for him to come.
waited with tito bobbeh and carlo and ria, and then rode in the trunk for a few minutes with karissa and ria because we had to meet dad somewhere outside the cemetery. it was really fun, because we knew there was a police guy nearby. so that was a thriller.
so dad drove to disneyland (anaheim really) for about an hour or so. i sat in the front seat, but later regret because they watched shark tale on the tv. its sad i couldn't watch from in front.
but anyway, we slept really early that night because we planned to wake up at 6 AM to go to disneyland. since it was the day after christmas, there would be tons of people.
dec26- woke up early. had light breakfast. left for disneyland in a RUSH.
in disneyland it was drizzling on and off. but it wasn't too bad. but it was a cold day. at first there were not so many people.
first ride we rode was space mountain. the wait was only 15 minutes, because there were still few people. the ride was really fun but i got dizzy. it was all dark with just stars around you (kinda like my new layout :p) then its a roller coaster that's really fast. when we exit from the ride and went outside, we saw the waiting time said "75 minutes". so it was good we went there first.
my other favourite ride was big thunder mountain railroad. it was really fun. it was a roller coaster again. buti like it better because it was faster.
i also like splash mountain. only gibby and dad rode with me. it was really fun, all the steep drops. i didn't get that wet though. haha.
rode the alice in wonderland teacups ride- the one that's spinning. and the 4 of us (including daniel) rode and spun ourselves really fast (your supposed to turn your teacup). then we were being weird. we even did "the wave". we were like "whooooo~" and put our hands up. it was funny.
after lunch time, there were millions of people. we had to literally squeeze our way through. so that's what we did in disneyland. my feet never ached so much in my whole life. seriously. they felt like they were gonna drop off.
after a long walk back to the car, i was really tired so i wanted to sleep. so i looked for big beep, my pillow. AND HE WASN'T ANYWHERE TO BE FOUND!!!! it was so sad!!! apparently, he was left in the hotel. NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~~~~~~ but it wasn't by fault- it was NDKLSHKSDOAIDOPFM! BIG BEEPPPPP~
so he's gone. tita agnes even called the hotel for us- but he was thrown away or something. since he was nowhere to be found, that's the only place he could be. ))))))):
dec27- stayed home in the morning and afternoon. packed a bit.
after dinner went to the bowling alley. but were too much people- so we just went to cold stone instead for ice cream! (: i got cheescake something. it was vanilla ice cream with graham crackers and strawberries and blueberries. it was really good, but the berries were a bit sour.
when we got home, had a 24 marathon, since we wanted to finish the entire season before we left. slept at 3.30 am already. as usual, bobert fell asleep.
dec 28- after lunch went to play bowling. the kids played on 2 lanes (because we wanted bumpers) and the adults on another 2 lanes. but in the end, we couldn't have bumpers. HAHA.
the computer thingy was screwed, so we ended up playing 2 games on 2 lanes- so we had to go on both lanes. guess what? i won both games! (: but it was fun. we played 1/4 of a game and this time, claire won both.
watched 24 again. tita agnes and family went home already.
dec 29- woke up at 8:30 since it was our last day. had breakfast with james who was leaving soon. said our goodbyes to tito koko and family.
went to the mall after for last minute stuff. bought tita pil a birthday present! it was heart-shaped box with her name engraved on it. it cost us 30+ dollars, but ria, karissa and i split the cost.
then i bought widj's eeyore from the disney store and tito bobbeh's tooth fairy pooh. it was really cute. and since "bobbert"'s a dentist, we bought it for him.
when we got home, we wrapped tita pil's gift then watched the remaining episodes of 24.
then did our final packing. went out on ria's balcony to see the sun set. not really sun set, coz you couldn't see the sun.. but when it got darker. it was really nice. you can see lots of stars there at night unlike here in singapore where its so cloudy. i used to look a lot at the stars at night.. it was so nice! and carlo even said one night "what's it with you and stars?" then he said.. "no, star are cool." haha.
had our last meal then left for the airport. it was really sad saying bye to everyone, even teddy. he seemed sad too, you know. maybe because everyone was leaving.
OK that's all for now, im tired of blogging. i think this is my longest post. ever.
