it's weird yet amazing how music can revive memories. for instance, the song "over the rainbow" reminds me so much of driving on the 5 freeway at night. and the songs of corrinne may remind of our plane ride to america. hearing it again reminds me of airplane food and the feeling of excitement of going to america, as well as sadness at the thought of leaving. and the song "you're still you" reminds me of our drive home from santa barbara at sunset, trying hard to sleep in the car. i really miss those times.
music really revives memories. and a few years later when i hear these songs again, i can say "remember when..."
