Thoughts

` i had an interesting day today. for morning devotions, dr yap (i think) talked about WAITING. and guess what? that's what i did the whole day.

in school, of course, i was waiting for the day to end. during our last few periods, i was getting drowsy and couldn't open my eyes anymore. during lunch time, i took a 5 minute nap. and guess what? it HELPED! (:

anyway, thats far from the end of the story. after school, something had to be done. and i was majorly upset, not to mention scared. but i shall not talk about that, it bothers me so (haha).

so i reach home, knowing that no one would be home. i take the lift, and suddenly it dawns on me: I HAVE NO KEY. so there i was, stranded and though, this could be good for me. at least i can study. so i just sat outside the door for a while, stoning. :D i decided to answer chem tys questions, but wasn't in the mood to. so i grabbed my "skipping christmas" book from the library and wrote a note saying i would be downstairs and they should come looking for me once they arrived.

so downstairs i go. and i take a stroll aorund. i sat down on a bench facing this fitness thingy. with all those pull-up bars and stuff. anyway, there i was. i started to read the book. many interesting things happen next.

first, i suddenly smell smoke and glance around me. to my surprise (maybe horror), a guy, shirtless, is smoking! oh well. also, i see lots of babies in strollers being walked (well, pushed really) around. and so, i read on and on and on. and sooner or later, the sun begins its quick descent. i had no watch, so i didnt know what time it already was. i guessed it was about 7, which meant i had already spent a good long 2 hours outdoors, on my own.

i couldn't read any longer, so i started walking around. to make the long story short, i ended up upstairs again, to check if the note hadn't flown away yet. it was windy the whole time, anyway, and i kind of got cold. to my surprise (once again) i saw this huge beetle right beside my note! and i was so scared, i just went back downstairs. i wouldn't blame the beetle though, it was really cold. and we do live beside bukit timah hill.

so in the end, my family arrived at around 8, and i take a long hot shower. (:
